Specialist Oncology Scar Therapy – Clinics in Clacton-on-Sea & Bury St Edmunds, or a Personalised Home Visit (additional cost)

“Helping scars soften, move and heal – with compassion, expertise, and a gentle touch.”

What is Scar Therapy?

Scar therapy is a specialised hands-on approach that helps restore comfort, mobility and softness to scars caused by surgery, injury or cancer treatment. It gently works with the fascia, nerves and surrounding tissues to reduce tightness, improve movement and support healing.

Originally developed through clinical soft tissue work and fascia research, modern scar therapy is now widely used alongside cancer recovery programmes. Evidence shows that targeted scar work can improve pliability, reduce pain and support lymphatic flow– especially after mastectomy, reconstruction, abdominal surgery, C-section, orthopaedic procedures and trauma.

Who Is It For?

Scar therapy is ideal for those with:

• Mastectomy, lumpectomy or reconstruction scars

• Abdominal surgical scars

• C-section, hysterectomy or laporocopic scars

• Ortopaedic scars

• Burns or trauma

• Tightness, pulling, numbness, sensitivity

If your scar feels “stuck”, restricted, uncomfortable or emotionally difficult to connect with, scar therapy can help.
